For more than 80 years, The Independent Party of Malverne
has played a major role in Village government creating this
beautiful community where you have chosen to live.

Thirteen of Malverne's mayors have been elected under our
banner.  Our party has also been the stepping stone for
other great elected officials, such as former Hempstead
Town Clerk Hamilton Gaddis, former County Executive
Francis T. Purcell, former State Supreme Court Justice
Howard Levitt, and others.

We hold a reputation for good government.  And since our
inception, we have maintained a strong voice for the people
on the Village Board of Trustees.  Today the Independent
Party remains the only Village political party to cut Village
taxes.

Formed in 1924, the Independent Party has pledged the best possible government for the Village of Malverne.
Our organization involves itself only in Village issues.  The Executive Committee is comprised of both
Republican and Democrats dedicating themselves to Malverne.
